This magnificent nature reserve of 1500 hectares is situated on the domain of Vouvry municipality. It is almost a miracle that the Taney valley rested untouched by modern society¿s craving for paved roads and concrete. Therefore, this little jewel hidden away in the Prealps is one of the rare intact Alpine valleys that exist today. Like it has always been, the only access is on foot (with some few exceptions), leaving from Flon, Bouveret, St. Gingolph, or France. It does not matter which itinerary you chose, your effort will be rewarded by the serenity and breathtaking beauty of the ancient scenery. A must for every nature lover!
